priceprotectr
"Use Price Protectr to track prices of things you're thinking about buying, and save money even after you buy.
There are lots of stores out there that offer price protection policies -- when the price drops on an item you've purchased, they'll refund you the difference. But there's a catch... it's up to you to watch prices.
Price Protectr makes it simple to watch prices, keep track of your purchases, and get rebates off price drops."

Radio City Music Hall
I was here Wednesday night with my brother to see the Christmas show. I'll never get tired of it. They made some new additions this year. Be sure to see it if you get to NYC and take the back stage tour. Our boys got a kick out of that when they were little.
(Next a few pictures from the show.)

Buy Veteran
"Buy Veteran is a national campaign spearheaded by the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) to bring the success and momentum of the National Veteran Business Movement to all of America’s 3 million veteran-owned businesses. In 1999, the federal government passed Public Law 106-50 that set a mandate to award 3 percent of all federal contract and subcontract dollars to service-disabled veteran-owned businesses."
"In addition, nearly 15 percent of FORTUNE® 1000 companies set goals to include veteran-owned businesses in their supply chains as part of their supplier diversity programs. Recent nationwide polling revealed that it’s not just the government and large corporations that want to Buy Veteran – the average American consumer wants to Buy Veteran too! In fact, two-thirds of respondents said they’d rather purchase from a veteran-owned business than a non veteran-owned business."
"This is where the Buy Veteran campaign comes in. Buy Veteran lets everyday, Main Street, consumer-facing veteran-owned businesses in every city and small town in America capitalize on the trust and gratitude to help their businesses grow."

Easy Snap Bag
To make this even easier I started with a placemat. You need to cut 2 pieces of an old tape measure (not a thin flimsy one) about 3/4" shorter than the width of your bag. Round off the edges and cover with thick heavy tape so the sharp edges won't cut through your fabric. On each end I turned about 1 1/2" over to the right-side, slipped under a triangle-shaped tab, and then stitched a pocket to hold the metal measuring tape. The printed sides on the tape must face each other for the finished bag to close .
I sewed a decorative stitch below this stitch-line. With right sides together I stitched up the sides, stopping where the very thick fold-overs were. After both side were done I turned it right side out and then sewed up the thick folded over edges.

Transportation Stencil
I made this stencil and used different ones on the centers of each of the navy strips on Ben's quilt. The stars were put on either side going out to the edges and all were stitched with the multicolored thread. (I forgot to show it in the photo's I took.)

Benjamin's Quilt
Made for my great nephew Benjamin's first birthday. It goes with the theme and colors of his nursery. There are zippered pockets to hold the little fabric cars & trucks.
