What Did You Learn From Your Mother?

Mother's Day is this Sunday and I was just wondering if Hodgepodge readers would like to share something they learned from their mother. It doesn't have to be worldly or profound, just something you'd like to pass along. Email it to me at debbie@geraniumfarm.org with "Mom" in the subject line and sign it as you want you name to appear, or no name. Meanwhile here's what Elizabeth Peale Allen had to say she learned from her mother,
5 Things I Learned From My Mother, Ruth Stafford Peale, the First Lady of Positive Thinking

Update: I've already started hearing back from you and your responses are great. Keep them coming! I'll post them on Friday.
