Laura's Travel Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my friend Carol’s daughter, Laura. Currently she is a Peace Corps volunteer in Nicaragua, after completing college with a major in International Studies and a minor in World Health. When I saw the "travel" prints in a bundle of fat quarters I just knew it was for her. This was my thank you to her as her bedroom is my guest room whenever I visit. I wish I could share her emails of her experiences in her adventure of serving (but Peace Corps has some rules about that). She's a cool kid who speaks several languages, has traveled as part of her studies, and I think this is just the beginning of what's to come from her! You go girl!
