Five Little Pumpkins

Do you remember this one from your childhood?

Five little pumpkins
Sitting on a gate
The first one said,
"Oh, my it's getting late!"
The second one said
"There are witches in the air!"
The third one said,
"Well, I don't care!"
The fourth one said,
"Let's run and run and run!"
The fifth one said,
"I'm ready for some fun!"
Ooooo went the wind
And out went the lights
And the five little pumpkins
Rolled out of sight.

I love that little ditty of a song! Alice came home singing it 13 years ago, followed by Geoffrey.
This past week I had the blessing to go back to Geoff's nursery school & substitute for a teacher. What did the kids sing in preparation of the Halloween parade? But of course, 5 Little Pumpkins!!
